Lara Campbell is a scientist and technical manager committed to advancing research efforts that benefit society. Her work has centered on developing the programmatic approaches and collaborative teams essential to enable innovations that reach people across the U.S. and around the globe.
She founded Petrichor after serving as Executive Director of the President's Council of Advisors on Science and Technology (PCAST), within the White House Office of Science and Technology Policy, following more than 20 years as a researcher, federal program director, and non-profit leader.
She holds a PhD in Chemistry from the University of Texas at Austin and was a Fulbright Scholar.
Charna Meth serves as Petrichor's Chief Operating Officer and as a consultant, helping organizations turn strategic priorities into effective programs, partnerships, and operating systems. Drawing on more than twenty years leading complex scientific and mission-driven initiatives, she collaborates with clients to design and launch new programs, manage and strengthen ongoing ones, and build the partnerships needed to move ambitious work forward. Her approach centers on translating strategy into practical plans and bringing people together around shared goals — skills shaped by years directing scientific program offices across the earth, ocean, and space sciences. She holds an M.S. in Geological Sciences from the University of Texas at Austin and project management credentials from George Washington University.
